Perseorangan muda negara, Ng Tze Yong, mengakui pengalaman menjadi jurang apabila tewas 21-19, 16-21, 12-21 kepada wakil tuan rumah, Lakshya Sen, dalam separuh akhir Terbuka India 2022 semalam.
Bagaimanapun, pemain berusia 21 tahun itu tetap berpuas hati dengan keputusan tersebut kerana ini merupakan penyertaan pertamanya dalam kejuaraan super 500 Jelajah BWF.
"Secara keseluruhannya saya gembira dengan keputusan (pencapaian kejohanan) ini sebab ia merupakan kejohanan bertaraf super 500 yang pertama buat saya.
"Set pertama saya dapat ikuti kepantasan permainannya dan set kedua pula saya agak hilang fokus (hingga mengundang kekalahan).
"Lawan meningkatkan tempo permainannya dalam set ketiga jadi saya tidak dapat ikut.
"Walaupun dapat mengimbangi kepantasan permainannya dalam set pertama, berdasarkan set ketiga saya akui perlu tambah lagi (usaha tingkatkan ) kepantasan," katanya.
