Konfederasi Sepak Takraw Malaysia (MSC) melantik bekas jurulatih Kuala Lumpur (KL) Thunder, Azhar Sarbini, untuk mengemudi pasukan negara.
Bagaimanapun, Azhar menjelaskan ia masih belum muktamad dan memerlukan ruang untuk pertimbangan sewajarnya sebelum memberikan sebarang kata putus.
"Saya masih memikirkan sama ada mahu menerima atau tidak, sedang memperhalusi (tawaran ini) memandangkan situasi PSM dan MSC belum menemui noktah tentang apakah kesudahannya.
"Saya amat menghormati rakan-rakan dalam barisan kejurulatihan.
"Saya akan pertimbangkan tawaran tersebut," katanya.
Dalam masa yang sama, Azhar masih belum memberi sebarang ketetapan mengenai kedudukannya bersama Kelantan Warriors dalam kancah Liga Sepak Takraw (STL).
"Perjanjian saya dengan presiden (Gabungan Sepak Takraw Kelantan), Zuraidin Abdullah, hanya untuk STL 2021 jadi berkenaan STL 2022 masih belum diputuskan.
"Tapi saya juga menerima tawaran untuk terus bimbing Kelantan Warriors," katanya.
Awal bulan ini, Persekutuan Sepak Takraw Asia (ASTAF) mengiktiraf MSC susulan konflik dalaman membabitkan Persatuan Sepaktakraw Malaysia (PSM).
