Jika ia berlaku, Arul tidak rela persediaan rapi skuad negara terganggu menjelang Piala Asia hujung tahun ini, sebagai kelayakan Piala Dunia 2022.
Kejohanan empat penjuru di Valencia, Sepanyol menjadi aksi pemanas badan Sukan Olimpik Tokyo dan Malaysia merupakan antara negara yang dipanggil untuk mengambil bahagian dalam saingan tersebut.
Ia juga dilihat sebagai alternatif jika Piala Sultan Azlan Shah ditunda ekoran pandemik Covid-19 ketika ini.
"Jika Piala Sultan Azlan Shah ditunda, kami akan menggunakan pelan B. Kami sangat terharu kerana Sepanyol menjemput kami beraksi di Eropah. Ia adalah peluang terbaik buat pasukan beraksi bertemu pasukan Eropah," kata Arul.
