Angel Gomes menjelaskan masanya untuk menutup 'kenangan terindah' dalam hidupnya selepas menamatkan hubungannya bersama Manchester United.

Kontrak pemain berusia 19 tahun itu berakhir dan dilaporkan bakal menyertai Lille, walauapun dia bakal dipinjamgkan ke kelab Portugal pasukan Ligue 1 itu bagi musim 2020-21.

Gomes hadir daripada sistem belia United dan dibawa masuk ke dalam skuad senior di bawah kendalian Jose Mourinho pada Mei 2017, hadir sebagai pemain gantian ketika berdepan Crystal Palace.

Bagaimanapun, peluang kian menjadi terhad buat pemain muda kelahiran England itu -- selepas hanya membuat tiga penampilan dalam saingan Liga Europa musim ini -- memilih untuk meneruskan kariernya di tempat lain.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer mengesahkan The Red Devils telah gagal untuk mencapai persetujuan baru, Gomes mengucapkan selamat tinggal kepada pasukan menerusi Instagram semalam.

It is time I take the next step in my career, I hope you can all be proud off what I go on to achieve. Lille masih belum mengesahkan kehadiran pemain itu, walaupun media Perancis mendedahkan Gomes akan menandatangani kontrak lima tahun bersama kelab itu.
