Ketua jurulatih Terengganu FC (TFC) II, Roshadi Wahab, yakin penyerang import, Jordan Mintah, berupaya mengulangi prestasi cemerlang bersama bekas pasukannya.
Malah, Roshadi turut gembira dengan prestasi penjaring terbanyak Liga Vietnam itu dalam sesi latihan sejak menyertai TFC II daripada Kaya FC dua minggu lalu.
Walaupun belum diuji dalam aksi pemanas badan bertemu Universiti Sultan Zainal Abidin (Unisza) dan TFC minggu lalu, kelincahan Mintah semakin berada dalam prestasi terbaik.
"Dia (Mintah) berjaya mendapatkan keserasian dengan tonggak import serta pemain tempatan lain biarpun belum 100 peratus.
"Saya berpuas hati dengan persembahannya sejak awal menyertai sesi latihan TFC II dan yakin dia mampu menunjukkan taring sebenar dalam Liga Perdana," katanya.
Sementara itu, Roshadi menyifatkan pemain muda negeri itu tetap akan memainkan peranan penting dalam pasukannya musim depan.
Antaranya Engku Nur Shakir Engku Yacob dan Wan Mohamad Fazli Wan Ghazali yang menyinar bersama skuad Piala Presiden, TFC III, sebelum ini.
"Walaupun ada pemain import, tidak bermakna khidmat tonggak muda ini akan dipinggirkan, sebaliknya TFC II akan memainkan peranan menonjolkan pemain muda.
"Mereka akan bersama pasukan ini dalam misi tiga teratas Liga Perdana serta kembali merampas Piala Cabaran," kata Roshadi.
