Penyerang Johor Darul Ta'zim (JDT), Safee Sali, mengakui panggilan menyertai skuad kebangsaan sangat bermakna buat dirinya setelah kali terakhir mewakili negara ketika bertemu Emiriah Arab Bersatu (UAE) di Shah Alam, November tahun lalu.
Bekas penggempur Pelita Jaya itu adalah antara 26 pemain yang dipanggil menyertai kem latihan pusat fasa akhir menjelang Kejohanan Piala AFF Suzuki yang akan berlangsung bulan depan.
"Saya tidak boleh menolak panggilan skuad kebangsaan sebagai seorang rakyat Malaysia.
"Saya berbangga dan akan cuba berusaha dalam latihan serta mengikut arahan jurulatih.
"Tengoklah sejauh mana, Insya-Allah kami akan berusaha habis-habisan," katanya.
