Apabila bercakap mengenai siapakah yang bakal merangkul anugerah Jurulatih Lelaki Terbaik FIFA, bintang Real Madrid dan Portugal, Cristiano Ronaldo, mempunyai pilihannya sendiri -- dia akan memilih Fernando Santos berbanding Zinedine Zidane.
Antara 10 jurulatih yang di senarai pendek untuk anugerah itu ialah Santos dan Zidane, dengan masing-masing meraih kegemilangan di Euro 2016 dan Liga Juara-Juara Eropah.
Santos memimpin Portugal untuk meraih kejayaan di Euro 2016, kejayaan utama sulung negara tersebut, manakala Zidane membawa Real Madrid untuk memenangi kejuaraan kedua Liga Juara-Juara dalam tiga musim.
Ronaldo -- yang baru menandatangani lanjutan kontrak lumayan dengan Madrid - berkata dia akan mengundi jurulatih negaranya, bukan pengendali kelab.
"Jelas sekali dua jurulatih saya melakukan kerja yang hebat, kedua-duanya Zidane dan Santos," kata Ronaldo.
"Pada pendapat saya, ia adalah lebih sukar untuk memenangi Kejohanan Eropah dengan Portugal, yang pertama dalam sejarah kami.
Zidane telah melakukan tugas yang hebat tetapi saya perlu memihak kepada seorang lagi dengan lebih sedikit, saya akan memilih Santos.
"Ia bukan berdasarkan kepada hubungan kami, bersama mereka berdua ia hebat, saya membayangkan mereka akan melakukan perkara yang sama jika berada di dalam situasi saya."
