Jurulatih Chile, Juan Antonio Pizzi, mengesahkan penjaga gol, Claudio Bravo, mengalami kecederaan pinggul ketika pasukan itu mencatat keputusan seri 0-0 dengan Colombia dalam aksi kelayakan Piala Dunia 2018.
Penjaga gol Manchester City, Bravo, dikeluarkan pada separuh masa kedua perlawanan yang berlangsung di Barranquilla.
Lebih menambah kebimbangan buat Chile apabila pemain tengah, Arturo Vidal, turut dibawa keluar menjelang penghujung perlawanan.
Pizzi mengesahkan kecederaan tersebut, sambil menambah kecederaan yang dialami Vidal merupakan kecederaan yang sama ketika mereka mencatatkan kemenangan ke atas Peru, bulan lepas.
"Bravo mengalami kecederaan di bahagian pinggul," katanya dalam sidang akhbar.
"Vidal pula mengalami masalah yang sama ketika kami mencatat kemenangan ke atas Peru tetapi dia cuba untuk melupakan kecederaan tersebut dan memberikan komitmen penuh di atas padang."
Pizzi gembira apabila pulang dengan satu mata, membolehkan Chile kini mengutip 17 mata dalam kelayakan CONMEBOL.
"Apa yang penting, kami mendapatkan mata pada peringkat ini dan ia amat penting," katanya.
"Saya amat berpuas hati dan gembira kerana kami telah menjangkakan apa yang bakal berlaku."
Chile akan bertemu Uruguay pada Selasa depan di laman sendiri.
