Pemain berdarah kacukan Malaysia-Australia, Matthew Davies, berharap semua pemain dapat menampilkan aksi garang untuk meraih keputusan positif berdepan Kemboja.
Malaysia akan membuka tirai kempen Piala Suzuki AFF 2016 berdepan Kemboja, petang esok.
"Yang pertama sekali, saya ingin mengukuhkan tempat dalam kesebelasan utama. Itu adalah matlamat saya sejak beberapa minggu lalu.
"Saya mahu kerap beraksi selain berharap dapat menampilkan aksi baik dan melangkah jauh dalam kejohanan kali ini.
"Ini adalah cabaran berbeza buat saya. Walaupun belum ada pengesahan lagi (untuk diturunkan), tapi ada kemungkinan saya akan diturunkan di bahagian bek kiri.
"Saya sedang menyesuaikan diri untuk menggunakan kaki kiri dengan lebih kerap. Tugas di bahagian itu sama dengan posisi pertahanan kanan yang sering dimainkan saya," katanya.
Apa pun, bekas pemain Perth Glory itu berharap semua pemain dapat menampilkan aksi garang untuk meraih keputusan positif ketika berdepan Kemboja.
"Saya berharap kami sudah tahu apa yang perlu dilakukan apabila turun beraksi nanti dan kami akan melakukan apa sahaja untuk meraih tiga mata."
