Perjalanan kariernya terkubur seketika kerana gagal ujian doping dalam Kejohanan AFC B-23 di China awal tahun lalu.
Penjaga gol kelahiran Kelantan itu positif metabolite mathandienone dan digantung daripada sebarang aktiviti membabitkan bola sepak selama 20 bulan oleh Konfederasi Bolasepak Asia (AFC).
Lebih buruk lagi, kontraknya bersama Negeri Sembilan turut terbatal dan dia dilepaskan tanpa menerima sebarang pampasan.
"Perasaan itu tidak boleh hendak kata sebab terlalu gembira.
"Tetapi saya tetap fokus untuk meneruskan karier.
"Saya hanya melakukan latihan secara sendiri," katanya.
Syihan Hazmi, yang baru menerima kelahiran cahaya mata sulung tiga minggu lalu, mengakui sudah menerima beberapa tawaran daripada pasukan Liga Malaysia musim depan.
Begitupun, penjaga gol berusia 23 tahun itu belum membuat sebarang keputusan tatkala impiannya untuk kembali menyarung jersi negara tetap bernyala.
