Bintang Paris Saint-Germain (PSG), Kylian Mbappe, sedang merangka perancangan untuk memenangi gelaran pertama Liga Juara-Juara Eropah (UCL) selepas memilih untuk kekal bersama kelab itu.
Juara Ligue 1 berkenaan masih belum pernah memenangi trofi tertinggi peringkat Eropah walaupun mereka hanya disingkirkan dalam pusingan kalah mati sepanjang 10 musim terakhir.
Selepas muncul naib juara UCL musim 2019-20 dan mara ke separuh akhir musim 2020-21, PSG kemudian dikecewakan dalam pusingan 16 apabila mensia-siakan kelebihan dua gol sebelum tewas kepada pasukan juara, Real Madrid.
Mbappe sepatutnya sudah meninggalkan PSG untuk menyertai Madrid tetapi dia kemudian mengubah fikiran untuk kekal di Paris dan mahu menjadi sebahagian daripada sejarah pasukan itu sewaktu menjulang trofi UCL pertama mereka.
"Memenangi UCL bersama PSG merupakan sasaran yang amat jelas," kata Mbappe kepada BFM TV.
"Itulah apa yang kami mahukan tetapi akan ada perjalanan yang perlu dilalui.
"terlebih dahulu, kami perlu pastikan menjadi juara di peringkat nasional kerana pada dua tahun lalu, kami tidak dapat melakukannya," katanya.
