Victor Lindelof akan terlepas perlawanan Manchester United menentang West Ham malam ini bagi menemani keluarganya selepas rumahnya dipecah masuk Khamis lalu.
Lindelof memulakan perlawanan menentang Brentford bersama Raphael Varane, di mana United menang 3-1 dalam aksi Liga Perdana Inggeris (EPL) di London itu tetapi sewaktu perlawanan berkenaan, rumahnya diceroboh ketika isteri dan anaknya masih berada di dalam.
Isteri pemain berusia 27 tahun itu, Maja, mendedahkan dalam Instagram bahawa dia menguncikan diri bersama dua anaknya dalam sebuah bilik sebelum penceroboh itu memecah masuk rumahnya.
Pengurus interim United, Ralf Rangnick, mengesahkan bahawa pemain kebangsaan Sweden itu tidak akan terlibat dengan perlawanan EPL menentang West Ham malam ini kerana mahu menemani keluarganya.
"Saya sudah bercakap dengannya sepanjang penerbangan kami dari London," kata Rangnick kepada wartawan dalam sidang media sebelum perlawanan.
"Kami juga telah berbincang selama 20 hingga 25 minit pagi ini. Dia memberitahu saya apa yang sebenarnya berlaku dan ia sesuatu yang mencetuskan trauma, terutama buat isteri dan anak lelakinya yang baru berusia tiga tahun.
"Dia berkata kepada saya yang dia kini perlu berada di rumah. Dia tidak mahu meninggalkan isteri dan keluarganya sendiri, di mana saya amat memahaminya sebagai seorang bapa yang mempunyai dua orang anak.
"Kami bersetuju untuk dia tidak menyertai latihan hari ini dan tidak akan terlibat dengan perlawanan esok," katanya.
