Susulan penundaan aksi Liga Super bagi Terengganu FC (TFC), pemain sayap, Faisal Halim, enggan terlalu memikirkan tekanan dihadapi pasukan.
Sebaliknya dia mahu lihat ia sebagai perkara positif selepas terpaksa hadapi tempoh pra musim lebih panjang.
Skuad kendalian Nafuzi Zain terpaksa menunda dua perlawanan awal menentang Sri Pahang dan Negeri Sembilan serta aksi Piala FA menentang skuad Jang juga, kepada satu tarikh baru ekoran kes COVID-19.
"Selepas membuat persiapan rapi namun perjalanan kami terpaksa ditangguh ekoran COVID-19 merupakan sesuatu yang tidak dapat dielakkan. Kami harus mengambil positif bagi membuat persiapan yang lebih baik sebelum kami dibenarkan beraksi," kata Faisal.
Disebabkan perlawanan ditunda, TFC mengadakan aksi persahabatan menentang Terengganu II sebelum diberi rehat selama empat hari.
Kekecewaan itu terserlah apabila Terengganu II berjaya raih keputusan positif setelah menang 1-0 menerusi sepakan penalti jaringan Argzim Redzovic di saat akhir babak pertama.
Ketua jurulatih Terengganu II, Badrol Afzan Razali, berharap semua pemain menjaga kesihatan menjelang perlawanan pertama berdepan UiTM FC, selepas kehilangan lima pemain, dua digantung selain tiga lagi mengalami masalah kesihatan.
