Mehmet Durakovic berpuas hati dengan barisan pemain yang dimiliki bagi menghadapi kempen Liga Malaysia (Liga-M) 2020 bermula bulan depan walaupun kehilangan tiga pemain, Nasir Basharuddin, Brendan Gan dan Norhakim Hassan.
Jurulatih itu menganggap perpindahan pemain sebagai lumrah dalam bola sepak, sehubungan itu pemergian mereka tidak perlu diratapi.
"Tidak mengapa. Itu hak mereka untuk memilih pasukan lain. Saya harap mereka akan berjaya di tempat baru.
"Saya akan bina pasukan dengan bahan yang saya ada, lagipun saya masih ada ramai pemain yang saya tahu," katanya.
Durakovic yang memasuki tahun keempat bersama pasukan The Bos Gaurus (TBG) berkata pasukan itu memulakan latihan secara rasmi semalam.
"Ada kira-kira dua bulan untuk membuat persiapan. Jadi, tengoklah macam mana perjalanannya kelak.
"Kami kena bekerja keras untuk mempersiapkan diri. Apa yang pasti, pemain sudah bersedia untuk memulakan tugasan, begitu juga saya," ujarnya.
Mengenai pencapaian tahun lalu, jurulatih itu berkata secara keseluruhannya Perak boleh berbangga kerana muncul naib juara Piala Sumbangsih dan Piala FA serta mara ke suku akhir Piala Malaysia di samping mengakhiri cabaran liga dengan menduduki tangga kelima Liga Super.
Katanya, pemain juga menimba pengalaman beraksi di peringkat antarabangsa dengan menyertai pusingan kalayakan Piala AFC sehingga ke pusingan kedua.
