Bayern Munich telah mengesahkan bahawa perlawanan DFB-Pokal pusingan pertama mereka dengan Bremer telah ditunda kerana kebimbangan terhadap coronavirus.
Juara Bundesliga akan memulakan kempen DFB-Pokal Jumaat ini menentang pasukan divisyen kelima.
Bagaimanapun, Bremer merekodkan ujian positif COVID-19 dalam kalangan skuad kesebelasan utama, bermakna langkah-langkah kuarantin telah dikenakan ke atas kelab.
"Kesihatan pemain kami dan lawan kami sangat penting, jadi kami menganggap perintah jabatan kesihatan untuk menempatkan pasukan kami di karantina sebagai betul dan perlu," kata pengerusi kelab, Dr Peter Warnecke.
Bayern kemudian mengeluarkan, "DFB [Persatuan Bola Sepak Jerman] telah mengumumkan bahawa pertandingan DFB-Pokal Bayern bertemu Bremer SV Jumaat ditunda kerana tindakan kuarantin yang diperintahkan oleh pihak berkuasa kepada kelab tuan rumah."
Bayern akan memulakan kempen mempertahan gelaran Bundesliga bertemu Borussia Monchengladbach 13 Ogos ini.
