When Vitor “The Phenom” Belfort appeared ringside for All Elite Wrestling’s Double Or Nothing pay-per-view event in Jacksonville, Florida, he never imagined he would get to cap the weekend with a training session with one of boxing’s most iconic figures.

But on Saturday, 23 May, that is exactly what happened to the mixed martial arts legend from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.

The ONE Championship superstar was invited to watch AEW’s wrestling extravaganza behind closed doors with a select few, and he ran into none other than “Iron” Mike Tyson.

Belfort and Tyson took in epic contests like the Stampede Stadium match, where The Elite beat the Inner Circle, and the AEW World Title match between defending champion Jon Moxley and challenger Brodie Lee.

Tyson even presented wrestler Cody Rhodes with the inaugural AEW TNT Championship.

Impressed with the night’s action, “The Phenom” put up an Instagram post, tagging AEW President and CEO Tony Khan.

“This is for real,” he wrote. “This is insane! What athletes! Tony Khan, put me in!”

However, the real highlight of the evening for “The Phenom” was when he got to train with the legendary boxer from Brownsville.

In the video clip on Belfort’s Instagram page, the two men can be seen warming up together, with Tyson possibly supplying some of his hard-earned advice to the Brazilian athlete.

Both Belfort and Tyson are no strangers to action. The two titans are the youngest men to become World Champions in their respective sports – “The Phenom” at 19 and “Iron” at 20.

Belfort is expected to make his ONE debut later this year. Tyson, on the other hand, has been teasing a return to professional heavyweight boxing.
