ONE Championship’s “A NEW BREED” series concluded on Friday, 18 September.

The series was capped by ONE: A NEW BREED III, the previously recorded event from Bangkok, Thailand.

In the main event, Petchmorakot Petchyindee Academy successfully defended his ONE Featherweight Muay Thai World Title against Magnus “Crazy Viking” Andersson, winning by TKO.

The Swede started the bout confidently striking with the reigning World Champion. But as the fight progressed, Petchmorakot increased his output of left hands and elbows, which racked up the damage.

The finishing touches came with just seconds left in the third round. After scoring a standing eight count on Andersson, the Thai rushed in to finish him off with a straight left at the 2:57 mark of the round.

In the co-main event, Petchmorakot’s teammate, Capitan Petchyindee Academy, needed only six seconds to dust off Petchtanong Petchfergus in their ONE Super Series kickboxing bantamweight clash.

As soon as the opening bell sounded, Petchtanong launched a jab at Capitan, but the Petchyindee Academy standout countered with a jab-cross combination that instantly turned off his rival’s lights.

The first-round KO was the fastest ever recorded in ONE Super Series history.
