ONE Championship recently found itself listed alongside some of the world’s most popular sports properties for its successful social media engagement.

According to Socialbakers, an independent online social media marketing company that collected engagement data between 1 January and 30 June, 2020, ONE came in eighth place in the Top 10 Most Engaging Sport Profiles on Facebook Worldwide.

The Singapore-based martial arts organization had 46,299,362 interactions during that time, putting it just above the National Basketball Association, which came in at ninth place with 45,049,463 interactions.

ONE Championship Chairman and CEO Chatri Sityodtong took to Facebook to share the news and send a message to the promotion’s millions of fans.

“Thank you to the greatest fans in the world for inspiring me and my team to dream more, do more, and be more in life!” he wrote in the post.

ONE is the only sports property on the list from Asia and the only company representing martial arts.

And it’s no surprise.

The Home Of Martial Arts has a projected fan base of over 2.7 billion viewers worldwide, and it broadcasts shows to more than 150 countries through various television stations and online networks.

Aside from producing martial arts spectacles, ONE also hosts reality shows like ONE Warrior Series and the upcoming The Apprentice: ONE Championship Edition.

It also recently launched a video podcast called Franklin Speaking, hosted by multiple-time World Champion and mixed martial arts icon Rich Franklin.

After its return to martial arts action last Friday, 31 July, ONE will resume its flagship event schedule with ONE: NO SURRENDER II on 14 August in Bangkok, Thailand. The show will kick off the recently announced ONE Bantamweight Muay Thai Tournament.
