Kylian Mbappe was named among the substitutes for Paris Saint-Germain against Atalanta in the Champions League quarter-finals.

The France star has been sidelined since injuring his ankle in the Coupe de France final victory over Saint-Etienne on July 24.

Head coach Thomas Tuchel said the forward would be in his plans against Atalanta provided he came through Tuesday's training session unscathed.

As expected, Mbappe was passed fit for the matchday squad on Wednesday, although he was not in the starting line-up.

Marco Verratti missed out with a calf injury, while Angel Di Maria was suspended, meaning the pressure was on Neymar and Mauro Icardi in the PSG attack.

Atalanta were without Josip Ilicic, who missed the final six matches of the Serie A season after returning to his native Slovenia for personal reasons.
