Cristiano Ronaldo was happy to be back after returning to lead Juventus to a 4-1 Serie A win over Spezia on Sunday.

After testing positive for coronavirus, Ronaldo missed four Juve games before marking his return with a double off the bench at Spezia.

The star forward was delighted with his return as he moved onto five goals in three Serie A games this season.

"Cristiano is back," Ronaldo told Sky Sport. "The important thing is that I came back and we won."

While he only came on in the 56th minute, Ronaldo's two shots on target were more than any other player on the pitch could manage.

Juve, who have won the title in nine straight seasons, are four points behind unbeaten leaders Milan through six games.

Ronaldo believes Andrea Pirlo's side can contend again, although he warned about several other threats in 2020-21.

"It is not a simple championship," Ronaldo said.

"Milan are doing great things, there are also Lazio and Napoli. We have to be careful. But we are there, we will be present."

Juve's next outing is a Champions League trip to Ferencvaros on Wednesday.
