The Blazers may have been dealt a serious blow.

Guard CJ McCollum had to be helped to the locker room by teammates after suffering an apparent leg injury in the third quarter of the team's 108-103 loss to the Spurs on Saturday.

He looked as if he was holding his lower leg when he was helped off.

The Raptors announced it was a left leg injury.

Head coach Terry Stotts said after the game x-rays were negative. McCollum will undergo an MRI in Portland on Sunday.

McCollum came into Saturday's game averaging 21.5 points and 4.1 rebounds on the season.

"It's definitely around my knee but I don't know the extent of it," McCollum told reporters after the game. "I don't know if it's lateral, I don't know, I just know that it's not normal."

McCollum said he could walk but there was pain.
