Momota pula akan berdepan wakil India, P. Kasyap, dalam separuh akhir esok.
Turut tersingkir dalam suku akhir ialah beregu lelaki muda negara, Goh Sze Fei-Nur Izzudin Rumsani, yang tewas kepada pasangan tuan rumah, Choi Solgyu-Seo Seung-jae, 21-18, 18-21, 21-18.
