Kelab Raket Kuala Lumpur (KLRC) sedia membantu bekas pemain perseorangan wanita negara, Goh Jin Wei, untuk membuat rayuan kepada Persatuan Badminton Malaysia (BAM).
Namun, BAM perlu terlebih dahulu mengemukakan dokumen hitam putih bagi membolehkan pihaknya membuat rayuan rasmi dalam usaha mendapatkan pembelaan sewajarnya.
Pengurus KLRC, Sairul Amar Ayob, menjelaskan Jin Wei -- yang sebelum ini dibelenggu barah usus -- sudah pun keluar dari badan induk itu sejak September tahun lalu atas faktor bersara, justeru pemain tersebut dianggap sudah tiada perkaitan dengan badan induk berkenaan.
"Jin Wei telah meletak jawatan pada September tahun lalu dan ia diterima oleh BAM.
"Pada padangan kami, Jin Wei sudah lagi tidak bernaung di bawah BAM dan apabila dia dikenakan penggantungan dua tahun, kami agak terkejut.
"Sekarang kami minta surat rasmi daripada BAM sebelum kami melakukan rayuan.
"Sekarang kami tunggu daripada itu agar Jin Wei dapat beraksi.
"Kami harap BAM supaya bekerjasama dengan kami dan yang penting dia dapat bermain kembali," katanya.
Begitupun, bekas juara remaja dunia itu tampil dalam Kejohanan Purple League dengan mewakili Kelab Badminton Butterworth, bulan lalu.
Bagaimanapun, KLRC sedia menuruti semua prosedur yang diperlukan bagi memastikan pemain itu dapat membuat kemunculan di pentas antarabangsa dengan segera.
Namun, mereka masih menanti surat rasmi daripada peneraju badminton negara itu yang tidak akan mendaftar Jin Wei selama dua tahun agar kelabnya boleh membuat tindakan susulan.
