Nathan Cleary has been served with an amended breach notice by the NRL after new evidence emerged of the Penrith Panthers player breaching social distancing protocols.
Cleary was fined $10,000 Australian dollars and handed a one-game ban after a photograph emerged of him among a group of women at his home on ANZAC Day, despite restrictions in place over house visits during the coronavirus pandemic.
The match ban, as well as 60 per cent of the fine, were suspended for the remainder of the 2020 season, with the New South Wales half-back telling Channel Nine that he had "stuffed up".
New South Wales police did not take action against Cleary, who was in his own residence, but personal infringement notices and $1,000 fines were handed out to the women involved.
However, additional information from that day has since surfaced, resulting in a revised order from the NRL's integrity unit.
The 22-year-old has five days to respond to the notice, at which stage his final penalty will be confirmed.
