Max Verstappen became the first retirement of the 2020 Formula One season at the Austrian Grand Prix on Sunday.
The previous two races at the Red Bull Ring were won by Verstappen, but the Dutchman was forced to withdraw when his car came to a halt in the pits.
The Red Bull driver was running in second when an engine issue heading into turn one on lap 11 saw him fall to the back of the grid.
Despite managing to guide his car back to the pits, Red Bull were unable to fix the issue and Verstappen stalled when attempting to get away.

Verstappen got out of the car and stormed straight through the garage, with his team-mate Alex Albon running third behind Mercedes duo Valtteri Bottas and Lewis Hamilton, who started fifth after a three-place grid penalty.
Renault's Daniel Ricciardo and Lance Stroll of Racing Point also retired by the end of lap 21.
