Joy Koh came into “The Apprentice: ONE Championship Edition” as a dark horse among the 16 global candidates, but she has proven over four episodes that she can carry her team to victory in both the boardroom and physical challenges.
In the most recent episode, which aired on AXN last Thursday, 8 April, the remaining candidates competed in a game of bubble soccer on a beach, which was led by guest athlete and ONE star “Super” Sage Northcutt.
The game was intense, with both Team Valor and Team Conquest finding it difficult to score.
However, Team Conquest’s luck changed when Team Valor put most of their resources into covering ex-footballer Niraj Puran Rao.
With her opponents distracted, Joy was able to score the winning goal, which led Team Conquest to their first victory in the physical challenges since the hit reality show began back in March.
The win also raised Team Conquest’s confidence as they entered the next business challenge. In the boardroom, the candidates were asked to create food menus using plant-based meat product TiNDLE.
Joy and Team Conquest put their heads together and created a finished product that wowed ONE Chairman and CEO Chatri Sityodtong, Co-Advisor Niharika Singh, and guest CEO Kishin RK of TiffinLabs.
That left Team Valor in the loss column. As a result, they sent Teirra Kamolvattanavith, Sho Takei, and Irina Chadsey to the chopping block.
Chatri addressed all three candidates, and in a surprising turn of events, he eliminated both Sho and Teirra.
