ONE Championship’s final event of 2020 – ONE: COLLISION COURSE II – capped off another strong year for the Singapore-based martial arts promotion.

The promotion’s finale featured a first-round KO, a TKO stoppage, and a thrilling ONE Super Series Muay Thai main event.

In the night’s headliner, Jamal “Kherow” Yusupov’s left hand led him to a unanimous decision win over the gritty Samy “AK47” Sana.

The featherweight striking affair started off evenly as both men stood toe-to-toe and slung punches and kicks at each other.

At the end of the second round, however, “AK47” launched a right hand at his Russian rival, but Yusupov countered with a right jab-straight left boxing combination that took the Parisian off his feet.

It was a defining moment for Yusupov, and after another tightly contested third round, the knockdown proved enough to earn him the win.

The prelude to the main event featured a clash between former ONE Flyweight World Champion Kairat “The Kazakh” Akhmetov and “Ottogi” Dae Hwan Kim.

From the opening bell, Akhmetov proved he didn’t miss a step during his time away from the Circle, as he pelted his South Korean rival with a variety of punches.

By the second round, Kim wore the damage all over his face, but he never gave up – and “The Kazakh” never let up, either.

In round three, he switched tactics and took the fight to the ground, where he unleashed punches in both half-guard and then guard to secure the dominant unanimous decision win.
