The inaugural Singapore Comic Con took place over the first weekend in December at Marina Bay Sands.
ONE World Champions “Unstoppable” Angela Lee and Christian “The Warrior” Lee appeared at the convention for a special segment with video gaming broadcaster eGG Network.
The Singaporean martial arts siblings were guests on Chilling With eGG Network, a show where personalities chill, have fun, and play video games.
They were joined by hosts Faraz and ShuFaye, who took turns quizzing the Lees about their lifestyle and routines as martial artists.
Both “Unstoppable” and “The Warrior” shared how they were raised by parents who were martial artists and the influence martial arts had on their choices growing up.
Angela, the ONE Women’s Atomweight World Champion, revealed how their competitive nature would surface in other pursuits, like playing games.
Christian, the ONE Lightweight World Champion, also admitted to the guests that he occasionally indulges in Call Of Duty with his younger brother, but only because he cannot keep up with him in Fortnite.
But for the Lees, training – not gaming – is what made them World Champions, and they are reaping the rewards of their sacrifices, particularly in 2019.
After suffering a narrow loss to her rival in March, “Unstoppable” redeemed herself with a victory over ONE Women’s Strawweight World Champion “The Panda” Xiong Jing Nan at ONE: CENTURY PART I in October.
“The Warrior” also had his moment of glory, dominating Saygid “Dagi” Guseyn Arslanaliev to win the ONE Lightweight World Grand Prix Championship Final earlier in the same evening.
Their appearance on Chilling With eGG Network concluded with the Lees battling the hosts in a “Tricky Towers” gaming session.
As their stock continues to rise, it will not be long before fans get to see either “Unstoppable” and “The Warrior” back in the ONE Circle again in 2020.
