This Friday, 31 January, ONE Championship returns for its first show in the capital of the Philippines this year.

ONE: FIRE & FURY is stacked from top to bottom with 22 athletes eager to bring the heat to Manila.

Here are three reasons why you cannot miss this incredible spectacle taking place at the Mall Of Asia Arena.

The ONE Strawweight World Title Is On The Line

Joshua “The Passion” Pacio defends the gold against former World Champion Alex “Little Rock” Silva in the main event of the night.

After two back-to-back submission finishes in the second round, Silva is now on the verge of becoming a two-time ONE Strawweight World Champion.

With a near peerless grappling pedigree, “Little Rock” can swing any contest in his favor if things go to the ground.

While Pacio does not plan on competing with Silva on the canvas, he is happy to stand and trade leather with the Brazilian athlete.

The wushu specialist has a flair for spectacular performances, and another highlight-reel knockout could be on the cards.

A Muay Thai Extravaganza

Muay Thai fans are in for a treat.

The most exciting athletes from “the art of eight limbs” will converge at the Mall Of Asia Arena for a night of phenomenal action.

Rodlek PK.Saenchaimuaythaigym makes a bruising entrance against Chris Shaw in a ONE Super Series bantamweight tilt.

The 29-year-old is a three-time Muay Thai World Champion who has thrilled fans with his heavy hands and relentless offense.

He recently scored a one-shot KO of Andrew Miller at ONE: DAWN OF HEROES in August 2019 and battled to a unanimous decision win over Liam “Hitman” Harrison in an explosive three-round battle at ONE: LEGENDARY QUEST in June of the same year.

Alma Juniku also makes her second appearance against Anne “Ninja” Line Hogstad in Manila.

The Australian teenage star is a Muay Thai prodigy who has captured both the WBC and IPCC Muay Thai World Championships.

The 19-year-old was able to hold her own for five incredible rounds in an epic match against ONE Atomweight Kickboxing and Muay Thai World Champion Stamp Fairtex last June.

Lastly, fan favorite “The Baby Shark” Petchdam Petchyindee Academy squares off against Kohei “Momotaro” Kodera.

After a rise through the kickboxing ranks, the former ONE Flyweight Kickboxing World Champion returns to his Muay Thai roots in his clash with the man from Japan.

Petchdam’s famed left kick has been responsible for two of the most spectacular KOs in ONE Championship history, and he is ready to unleash its power against “Momotaro.”

With so much action in store, Muay Thai fans will not want to miss these ONE Super Series showdowns.

The Debut Of New And Exciting Martial Artists

Several fresh faces make their promotional debuts at ONE: FIRE & FURY.

As mentioned previously, Scottish athlete Chris Shaw is up for a tall task in his match against Rodlek.

However, Shaw will try to derail “The Steel Locomotive,” and he promises to do it in entertaining fashion.

Two-time ISKA Muay Thai World Champion Anne “Ninja” Line Hogstad will become the first Norwegian athlete to compete in The Home Of Martial Arts when she takes on Juniku in Manila.

The Oslo-based star wants to dominate in her debut, and she believes she has the power and speed to make this an epic atomweight clash that fans will enjoy.

Ivanildo “Monstrinho” Delfino is also ready to take the global stage by storm.

After a long journey that has taken him from the island of Soure in Northern Brazil to The Home Of Martial Arts, Delfino wants to make a run at the ONE Flyweight World Title.

His first task is to defeat Japanese star Tatsumitsu “The Sweeper” Wada. If he can get the win, the Brazilian will no doubt have a debut to remember.
