After back-to-back Champions League losses, Marseille returned to winning ways to move fourth in Ligue 1, three points behind leaders and titleholders Paris Saint-Germain.
Marseille have won three consecutive Ligue 1 matches, while Andre Villas-Boas' side are unbeaten in six games.
