FIFA U-17 World Cup, Superclasico, Clippers vs Lakers: What to watch this week
There are plenty to watch on Astro and Astro GO this week, especially for football fans who have already subscribed to the Astro Sports Pack! (Coverage is subject to change)

Copa Libertadores: Boca Juniors vs River Plate

Schedule: Wednesday, October 23 @ 8:30am
Channel: Astro Supersport (CH811 & CH831)
After beating eternal rivals Boca 2-0 in the semi-final first leg, River Plate have one foot in the Copa Libertadores final to stand a chance to defend their title. Backed by their home fans at La Bombonera, can Carlos Tevez and Co. overturn the deficit?

The NBA is back with a bang as local pride is at stake at the STAPLES Center to tip off the new season. The marque signings of Kawhi Leonard and Paul George have heralded a new era for the Clippers, making it an exciting battle for Los Angeles and arguably the NBA championship against LeBron James' Lakers, who have added, among others, Anthony Davis to the squad.

FFA Cup Final: Adelaide United vs Melbourne City

Schedule: Wednesday, October 23 @ 4:30pm
Channel: beIN Sports (CH818)
Adelaide United, making their third consecutive appearance, and fourth overall, in the FFA Cup Final, have an opportunity to become the first team to successfully defend the FFA Cup as they welcome Melbourne City, who won in 2016, to the Coopers Stadium.

UCL: Inter Milan vs Borussia Dortmund

Schedule: Thursday, October 24 @ 3:00am
Channel: beIN Sports Max (CH819)
As this season's group of death, this week's Group F action pits Dortmund against Inter at San Siro. After starting the group with one draw and one defeat, Inter head coach Antonio Conte desperately needs his team to pick up a win at home, especially with Barcelona likely to beat Slavia Praha in the other group match, to remain in contention for a top-two group finish to reach the last 16.

A-League: Western Sydney vs Sydney FC

Schedule: Saturday, October 26 @ 4:30pm
Channel: beIN Sports (CH818)
As if being a derby is not big enough, the upcoming A-League meeting is also an early top-of-the-table clash between the two Sydney clubs, who are the only sides to start the 2019/20 season with two wins out of two.

Bundesliga: Schalke 04 vs Borussia Dortmund

Schedule: Saturday, October 26 @ 9:30pm
Channel: Fox Sports 3 (CH817 & CH837)
Another derby taking place this week is the Revierderby, with Schalke playing host to Dortmund. Results have never been predictable in one of Germany's most intense matches; Lucien Favre's team managed to leave the Arena AufSchalke with all three points last season, but Die Knappen later avenged the defeat with a 4-2 humbling of their neighbours in the return fixture.

FIFA U-17 World Cup

Schedule: October 27 - November 18
Channels: Astro Supersport (CH811 & CH831), Astro Supersport 2 (CH812 & CH832)
It's almost time for the FIFA U-17 World Cup again, and this year, there will definitely be a new country lifting the trophy after defending champions England failed to qualify for the finals. Out of the 24 teams, the favourites to win the 2019 edition are arguably hosts Brazil, five-time winners Nigeria, 2011 champions Mexico and 2017 runners-up Spain.

EPL: Liverpool vs Tottenham Hotspur

Schedule: Monday, October 28 @ 12:30am
Channel: Astro Supersport 3 (CH813 & CH833)
The 2018/19 UEFA Champions League finalists clash for the first time since the eventful night in Madrid. While the Reds have built on their success of lifting the 'Big Ears' to sit at the top of the Premier League, Spurs have struggled to produce good results, trailing behind Jurgen Klopp's side by 13 points.

Serie A: Roma vs Milan

Schedule: Monday, October 28 @ 1:00am
Channel: Fox Sports 2 (CH816 & CH836)
Despite the animosity between Roma and Milan having dwindled in the past few years, their rivalry has remained one of Italian football's classic matches. And if either sides are looking for additional motivation to one-up the other, the upcoming game marks another return to Stadio Olimpico by new Milan head coach Stefano Pioli, who was in charge of crosstown rivals Lazio between 2014 and 2016.

Ligue 1: Paris Saint-Germain vs Marseille

Schedule: Monday, October 28 @ 4:00am
Channel: beIN Sports (CH818)
With Kylian Mbappe and Edinson Cavani recently returning to Thomas Tuchel's side to ease their injury crisis, will the eight-time Ligue 1 champions extend their unbeaten run in Le Classique, easily the biggest rivalry in French football? They last lost to Marseille in all competitions in November 2011.
