Malaysia was the unlikely place where Arsenal captain Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang gave his first fan service, but that was exactly what happened.

The Gabon international, who recently scored two goals to help his side beat Chelsea and win the 2020 FA Cup, revealed to Astro Supersport host Adam Carruthers in an episode of Adam Talks about the fan encounter in 2007, when he was playing for AC Milan's youth team.

"It was quite strange and weird. I remember I was playing for AC Milan and we went to Malaysia for [the Champions Youth Cup].

"I was scoring goals so maybe that was why he came to me at the hotel and asked for a picture with me [and I said yes].

"I saw him again years later when I was playing with Dortmund [for a game] in Malaysia," he said, likely referring to the time the Bundesliga giants visited Malaysian Super League champions Johor Darul Ta'zim (JDT) in 2015.

"He showed me the old picture and it was so funny."

In 2007, Aubameyang memorably finished as the top scorer with seven goals as Milan reached the semi-finals of the youth tournament — incidentally, one of his goals was against his current team.
