The Pistons have apparently narrowed their coaching search.

Detroit is focusing on former Raptors coach Dwane Casey and current University of Michigan coach John Beilein, according to a report by ESPN. Casey and Beilein have both already interviewed with the Pistons front office.

Casey was dismissed by the Raptors in May after they were swept by the Cavaliers in the second round of the playoffs. He posted a 320-238 record and made five playoff appearances in seven seasons with Toronto.

Beilein has been at Michigan since 2008-09. He has registered a 248-143 record and made two Final Four appearances at the school. Beilein has also coached at Canisius, Richmond and West Virginia.

The Pistons reportedly interviewed Heat assistant Juwan Howard and TNT analyst Kenny Smith last week.

The Pistons finished 2017-18 with a 39-43 record and missed the playoffs for a second straight season. They parted ways with president of basketball operations and head coach Stan Van Gundy in early May.
