The Grizzlies are reportedly close to trading center Marc Gasol to the Hornets and have engaged multiple teams in discussions about Mike Conley.

The Pistons and Jazz are “front-runners” to land the 31-year-old guard, according to a report from The Athletic, which cites unidentified league sources. Memphis has also reportedly spoken with the Raptors about Conley.

Utah has reportedly offered the Grizzlies guard Ricky Rubio and a first-round pick in exchange for Conley, while the Pistons package would center around Reggie Jackson.

Conley has spent his entire 12-year career in Memphis. He entered play Tuesday tallying 20.3 points and 6.3 assists per game while knocking down 35.9 percent of his 3-point attempts in 2018-19.

The point guard agreed to a five-year, $153 million deal with the Grizzlies in the summer of 2016.

The Pistons headed into their game Tuesday against the Knicks 1 1/2 games behind the Heat for the final playoff spot in the Eastern Conference with a 23-29 record. The Jazz are 30-24 and in seventh place in the West.

Meanwhile, Memphis stands at 21-33 and is all but out of the postseason race.
