Tyreke Evans could be the veteran support LeBron James needs in Los Angeles.

The guard is meeting with the Lakers Monday, just one day after he sat down with the Thunder, ESPN reported.

Current NBA champions Golden State have also expressed interest in Evans.

The 2009-10 rookie of the year had one of his best seasons with the Grizzlies, averaging 19.4 points with 5.1 rebounds and 5.2 assists in 30.9 minutes of play.

Aside from James, the Lakers are a very young group, and James has indicated before he doesn't want to shoulder an entire team, which is what happened in Cleveland.

James' signing in Los Angeles was only the beginning of a series of roster changes — the team has also added veterans Lance Stephenson and JaVale McGee to one-year deals, as well as re-signed Kentavious Caldwell-Pope to a one-year contract.
