Kentavious Caldwell-Pope is re-signing with the Lakers.
The 25-year-old guard has agreed to a one-year, $12 million contract with Los Angeles, according to a report from ESPN. Caldwell-Pope averaged 13.2 points and 5.2 rebounds per game for the Lakers last season.

The Clippers had also reportedly expressed interest in Caldwell-Pope.
Caldwell-Pope was originally selected by the Pistons with the eighth overall pick in the 2013 NBA Draft. He spent four seasons in Detroit before he signed a one-year contract with the Lakers in July 2017.
Caldwell-Pope’s best season came in 2015-16 when he averaged 14.5 points per game.
LeBron James announced via his agency Sunday he was leaving the Cavaliers and signing a four-year, $154 million contract with the Lakers. Los Angeles is also pursuing a potential trade for Kawhi Leonard and has spoken with free agent center DeMarcus Cousins, according to multiple reports.
The Lakers finished 2017-18 with a 35-47 record and missed the playoffs for a fifth straight season. But their roster will look drastically different in 2018-19.
