The Cavaliers want to bring back Jeff Green.

The 31-year-old forward averaged 10.8 points and 3.2 assists in 2017-18, his lone season in Cleveland. The Cavaliers are hoping to re-sign Green this offseason, according to a report from The Cleveland Plain Dealer.

Green signed a one-year veteran’s minimum contract with the Cavaliers in July 2017. He was a key rotation player off of Cleveland’s bench.

Green started for an injured Kevin Love in the Cavaliers' Game 7 victory over the Celtics in the Eastern Conference Finals. He tallied 42 minutes and scored 19 points to help Cleveland come away with the win.

Green has played for six teams during his 11-year NBA career.

The Warriors swept the Cavaliers in the 2018 NBA Finals. Cleveland star LeBron James opted out of his contract and could leave the team in free agency this summer.
