New Warriors teammates Kevin Durant and DeMarcus Cousins have a bit of history on the court, as illustrated by this spat from December that resulted in ejections for both players.

But according to Warriors forward Jordan Bell, bygones are bygones and Durant is thrilled about adding another All-Star to the Golden State roster.

“He’s very happy about it,” Bell said Tuesday (via the San Francisco Chronicle). “I asked him, ‘Y’all get along?’ He said, ‘Yeah, that’s just competing on the court. You forget about it the next day.’ ”

Bell said he was “very shocked” about the signing and his first thought was the relationship between Durant and Cousins, but he’s moved on to imagining the impact Cousins will have on the team when fully healthy.

“He’s obviously a great player, an All-Star,” Bell said. “I’m very excited to have him on our team, I think he can help us out a lot being that scoring center we really needed. … He’s definitely a tough person to guard. He can shoot and do just about anything.”

Bell will likely see plenty of starts at center while Cousins slowly returns from a torn Achilles.
