Kelab Badminton Kuantan Synergy Kepong A (KSKBC A) muncul juara Kejohanan Badminton Remaja Astro apabila menundukkan Tactical Winpro 3-0 dalam final di Stadium Juara, Bukit Kiara hari ini.
Pasukan itu bermula dengan langkah kanan selepas pasangan beregu campuran, Wee Yee Hern-Siti Nurshuhaini Azman, menyumbang mata pertama dengan kemenangan 21-13, 21-9 ke atas Lok Hong Quan-Carmen Ting.
Rentak cemerlang itu diteruskan wakil perseorangan lelaki, Darell Chew, yang mudah menewaskan V. Tamilarasukumar 21-5, 21-13.
Siti Nurshuhaini kemudian turun dalam acara perseorangan perempuan untuk mengesahkan kejuaraan pasukannya dengan menewaskan Chong Jie Yu 21-4, 21-5.
Pengurus KSKBC A, Ivan Yee Hon Chung, gembira dengan prestasi anak buahnya yang dianggap sebagai pelapis masa depan negara.
"Pemain saya semuanya beraksi bagus.
"Saya berpuas hati dengan keputusan ini.
"Pasukan kami mempunyai semangat berpasukan yang baik dan jurulatih juga banyak berkomunikasi untuk menganalisis setiap perlawanan," katanya.
