Bomba Fighters memadam hajat Melaka Titans untuk mara ke perlawanan akhir Divisyen 1 Liga Sepak Takraw (STL) menerusi kemenangan 2-1.
Melaka Titans, yang mencipta reputasi sebagai pasukan pilihan apabila memenangi ketiga-tiga perlawanan awal dengan straignt set, terlebih dahulu meraih kelebihan selepas unggul 21-18 sebelum momentum mereka semakin kendur.
Situasi itu menyaksikan Asraaf Zawawi terpaksa ditukarkan dalam rentak sengit di penghujung set kedua yang menyaksikan Asrie Isa memainkan peranan sebagai perejam, namun ia belum mampu mengubah kedudukan untuk Bomba yang diterajui apit kanan merangkap ketua pasukan, Razman Raof; tekong, Irsyad Faiz dan Ramli Afiq mengikat kedudukan 1-1 selepas menawan set kedua 21-17.
Melaka sekali lagi mengubah percaturan dan kali ini mempertaruhkan Khobil Sapir selaku tekong.
Walaupun cuba menggugat pendahuluan selesa lawan yang melakukan beberapa kesilapan mudah, namun usaha Melaka belum cukup untuk menyekat laluan Bomba.
