Atlet kelahiran Marang, Terengganu itu, yang turun dengan klasifikasi C5, merekodkan catatan masa 1:06.472s untuk menduduki tempat ke-10 daripada 21 pelumba.
Seorang lagi pelumba negara, Muhammad Hafiz Jamali (C5), pula menamatkan saingan di tempat ke-19 dengan catatan 1:11.288s.
Jaguh Sepanyol, Alfonso Cabello Llamas (C5), muncul pemenang pingat emas dengan memecahkan rekod dunia menerusi catatan masa 1:01.557s manakala wakil Great Britain, Cundy Jody (C4), menggondol pingat perak dengan 1:01.847s -- mengatasi rekod Sukan Paralimpik 1:04.494s yang sebelumnya turut dipegang Cabello Llamas.
