Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) melengkapkan pembelian pemain tengah, Renato Sanches, daripada seteru Ligue 1, Lille, dengan bayaran yang tidak didedahkan.
Pemain tengah itu bersatu semula dengan pengurus baru PSG, Christophe Galtier, dengan mengikat kontrak selama lima tahun bersama juara Perancis berkenaan.
Sanches telah dikaitkan dengan juara Serie, A Milan, tetapi PSG muncul sebagai pasukan pilihan untuk mendapatkan sentuhan pemain berusia 24 tahun itu.
Pemain antarabangsa Portugal itu memenangi gelaran Ligue 1 2020-21 ketika di bawah Galtier di Lille sejak tiba dari Bayern Munich pada 2019.
Sanches memberitahu laman web sesawang PSG: "Saya cukup gembira kerana tiba di sini di Paris. Beberapa hari terakhir ini sangat penting buat saya dan keluarga.
"Saya pasti telah membuat pilihan yang tepat dengan menyertai kelab ini. Saya memilih PSG kerana saya fikir ia adalah projek terbaik untuk saya. Kekal di Perancis adalah penting buat saya kerana saya sudah mengenali liga ini."
Bekas pemain Benfica itu menikmati peluang untuk bekerja semula dengan Galtier, yang menggantikan Mauricio Pochettino yang dipecat bulan lalu.
Sanches menambah: "Saya mengenalinya dengan baik. Dia seorang jurulatih yang bagus yang banyak membantu saya meningkat sejak saya menyertai Ligue 1. Kami juga berjaya memenangi liga bersama Lille.
"Kami bekerja dengan baik dan saya gembira kembali di bawah bimbingannya, begitu juga dengan barisan kejurulatihannya. Bekerja dengan pengurus yang anda kenali sentiasa memudahkan urusan. Komunikasi di antara akan anda lebih mudah."
Ketibaan Sanches hadir tatkala Georginio Wijnaldum dijangka menyertai Roma sementara Idrissa Gueye menjadi sasaran untuk bekas kelabnya, Everton.
PSG memulakan misi mempertahankan kejuaraan Ligue 1 dengan kunjungan ke Clermont, awal pagi Ahad ini.
