Bekas pemain tengah Pahang, Azidan Sarudin, kembali menyertai Kuala Lumpur untuk musim 2017 selepas disahkan menandatangani kontrak selama setahun pada Jumaat.
Azidan pada Jumaat hadir ke ibu pejabat Persatuan Bola Sepak Kuala Lumpur (KLFA) di Cheras.
Ia bagi memeterai kontraknya bersama skuad The City Boys sambil disaksikan Setiausaha Agung KLFA, Nokman Mustafa.
Bersetuju dengan tawaran KLFA, Azidan muncul pemain terbaru perkuat Kuala Lumpur untuk cabaran Liga Perdana musim depan
"Syukur alhamdulilah dan terima kasih kepada Kuala Lumpur kerana memberi kepercayaan kepada saya.
"Mereka telah membuat ujian MRI terhadap lutut saya jadi alhamdulilah saya bebas daripada sebarang kecederaan," katanya.
Untuk rekod, Azidan kembali menyertai Kuala Lumpur awal tahun ini selepas pernah mewakili kelab itu pada 2010.
Namun, pemain berusia 30 tahun ini tidak sempat beraksi kerana dibelenggu kecederaan lutut sebelum digugurkan pada bulan April lalu.
Dia kemudian menyertai AirAsia FC yang beraksi dalam Piala FAM.
Bebas daripada sebarang kecederaan, Azidan mahu menjadikan musim 2017 sebagai medan kebangkitan kariernya.
"Pahang merupakan pasukan di mana saya berada di prestasi terbaik untuk itu bagi tahun 2017 saya mahu buktikan apa yang saya mampu lakukan buat Kuala Lumpur," tambahnya.
