Tokyo Olympics: Dhabitah dives into women's 3m springboard final

Nur Dhabitah Sabri reached her third diving final at the Olympic Games after finishing sixth in the women's three-metre springboard semi-final on Saturday.

The four-time SEA Games gold medalist, who competed in the finals of the three-metre synchronised springboard and 10m synchronised platform at Rio 2016, scored 312.60 points from five dives at the Tokyo Aquatics Centre.

The 22-year-old, who had finished 10th with 291.60 points on Friday's preliminary round, was even at the top of the standings at one point during the fourth dive.

The top 12 from the semi-final's action qualified for Sunday's final, with 2016 winner Shi Tingmao (371.45 points) and her Chinese team-mate Wang Han (346.85 points) and Canada's Abel Jennifer (341.40 points) leading the pack.
