Valentino Rossi dibenarkan mengambil bahagian dalam Grand Prix (GP) Valencia, hujung minggu ini berikutan sudah bebas daripada COVID-19.
Juara MotoGP tujuh kali itu berdepan terlepas perlumbaan ketiga dalam empat pusingan terakhir selepas laporan media awal minggu ini mendedahkan pelumba Monster Energy Yamaha berkenaan masih positif COVID-19.
Begitupun, semalam pasukannya mengumumkan bahawa pelumba dari Itali itu telah diberi lampu hijau untuk beraksi di Valencia.
Pasukan Yamaha mengesahkan ujian calitan Rossi kelmarin masih dianggap "positif dengan virus yang sangat rendah" pada keesokan harinya.
Penunggang berusia 41 tahun itu disyorkan agar menjalani dua ujian lagi bagi mengesahkan situasinya dengan lebih jelas, yang dilakukan kelmarin dan semalam dengan kedua-duanya menunjukkan hasil negatif.
Pelumba yang bakal menyertai Yamaha-Petronas Sepang Racing Team (SRT), musim depan itu, dibenarkan ke Valencia di antara dua ujian terakhir berkenaan dan sebaik semua prosedur berkenaan selesai semalam, dia dibenarkan menyertai pasukannya.
Rossi tidak dapat menyertai dua perlumbaan di Aragon bulan lalu kerana masih dibelenggu pandemik itu.
Dia kemudian bersedia untuk menyertai GP Eropah pada hujung minggu lalu tetapi keadaannya masih positif.
