Peninju profesional negara, Adli Hafidz Mohd Fauzi, layak merebut tali pinggang kejuaraan Majlis Tinju Dunia (WBC), Mac depan selepas mencatat rekod lima kemenangan hasil kejayaan ke atas peninju Indonesia, Maxi Nahak, semalam.
Adli mengekalkan rekod tanpa kalah, sekali gus selangkah lagi untuk mencapai impian arena profesional.
Dia diberi tawaran merebut tali pinggang kategori super middleweight WBC, Mac depan dengan lawan yang belum diputuskan.
Apa yang penting, kemenangan di Singapura semalam membuka mata bahawa Malaysia memiliki seorang lagi peninju profesional handalan selepas Muhammad Farkhan Haron.
"Saingan WBC ini sangat penting buat saya untuk melangkah ke kancah profesional dan aksi pada Mac nanti membuka peluang untuk saya merangkul gelaran dalam kategori super middleweight," kata Adli.
Jika berjaya, Adli akan mengikut jejak langkah Farkhan yang sudah memegang tali pinggang cruiserweight WBC dan Persekutuan Tinju Asia (ABF).
