Persatuan Memanah Kebangsaan Malaysia (NAAM) memilih empat pemanah wanita Sukan SEA untuk mencabar tiket Sukan Olimpik Tokyo 2020 menerusi Kejohanan Asia di Bangkok, Thailand, bulan depan.
NAAM yakin keputusan menghantar wakil Sukan SEA mencabar tiket Sukan Olimpik adalah tindakan tepat tatkala harapan disandarkan kepada Nur Alia Ghapar dan Nur Afisa Abdul Halil yang berjaya meraih pingat dalam saingan antarabangsa, termasuk Piala Dunia.
Ia mencerahkan peluang untuk merebut slot ke Tokyo bagi saingan recurve individu wanita memandangkan kali terakhir wakil kebangsaan beraksi di pentas Olimpik adalah di London tujuh tahun lalu.
Pemanah wanita perlu menaiki podium untuk mengesahkan tempat tetapi hanya satu tiket disediakan buat setiap negara.
