Tuan rumah, Majlis Bandaraya Ipoh (MBI), memenangi ibu segala pingat apabila meraih emas acara bola sepak dalam Sukan Kerajaan Tempatan Perak di Stadium Perak, hari ini.
MBI menumpaskan Majlis Daerah Kerian 4-0 untuk merangkul pingat emas ke-12 dalam temasya dwitahunan ke-7 itu, yang disertai 15 pasukan pihak berkuasa tempatan (PBT).
Sebanyak 13 acara dipertandingkan dalam kejohanan yang bermula sejak 27 September lalu itu, yang menawarkan 26 pingat emas.
MBI muncul juara keseluruhan dengan meraih 12 emas, lapan perak dan empat gangsa. Majlis Perbandaran Taiping (MPT) kedua dengan empat emas, lapan perak dan tiga gangsa manakala Majlis Perbandaran Kuala Kangsar (MPKK) ketiga dengan empat emas, dua perak dan lima gangsa.
