Corey Thompson has committed his future to Wests Tigers with a new two-year deal, keeping him on the team until the end of 2021.

The 29-year-old, who returned to the NRL from Widnes Vikings in 2018, has established himself as a key man for the Tigers.

Thompson has 14 tries in 33 games since the start of last season and is delighted to have a new contract with Michael Maguire's side.

"It feels great to re-sign with the club and I can't wait to be here for another two years," he said.

"I don't want to go anywhere. I love playing at the Wests Tigers and to have my future sorted for another two years is really great for me."

Head coach Maguire added: "I'm very pleased to see Corey commit his future to Wests Tigers.

"He works extremely hard and embodies the values by which we want to be known as a team and is exceptionally well liked by the playing group and coaching staff."
