Cronulla Sharks halfback Kyle Flanagan has agreed a two-year deal to join Sydney Roosters from the start of the 2020 NRL season.
The 20-year-old will add to the Roosters' playmaking options in the absence of Cooper Cronk, who will retire at the end of the current campaign.
Cronulla granted permission for Flanagan to be released from the final two years of his contract, allowing him to sign for the title contenders.
"Kyle is a crafty playmaker and an exciting young talent, whose services we are delighted to have secured," Roosters chief executive Joe Kelly said.
"We look forward to welcoming Kyle to the Roosters and to watching his development over the coming seasons."

Flanagan is behind Shaun Johnson and Chad Townsend in the pecking order at Cronulla and he hopes to be given more opportunities when he links up with the Roosters.
"It is disappointing to leave my junior club but I feel that I am ready to play regular NRL," he said.
"The club has been such a big part of my life and it is tough to leave. I will be doing everything I can to get back in the team and finish the year on a positive note."
